We’re going to be adding Photoshop Templates to ThemeForest on December 1st. This way, people can sell pure design work to web builders.
what’s the selling price going to be…in what range?
And what about help files, I mean we’re not going to teach everyone here how to slice or add shadow or other stuff in PS?
Still TBD . That will all be explained in the next week or so.
I’m always adding the full psd to my templates. But from this moment i think just a header.psd enough?
So, for the existing item with PSD included. Will the author remove the PSD file? If they remove, how is the price adjustment?
Let say theme A with price $30 with PSD . The price for PSD is from $5 to $15 ( estimated, I don’t know) It is a quality theme. After the author remove the PSD , the theme price will be $15? and PSD is $15? Will this raise problem to users who want to edit the theme but he do not have the PSD file? Then he need to purchase twice?
If there is no PSD include, how is the price? For example site template with $ 10 price quality. Reduce to $5?
I don’t think author will include PSD with their theme/template anymore and the price for them will be reduce accordingly.
It is pretty simple to change a layout color in PSD , I think we can expect a layout with 10+ colors and upload in different files. Kinda spam…
I don’t think the price will be more than $15 or even $10.
Just my thought. I don’t know how TF will handle this but personally. But hope it works well.

Are we thinking here about PNG too? Because I’ve made some sites in Fireworks and it’s almost the same slicing in Photoshop and Fireworks + I have pages in FW so it’s little easier and the file size is smaller. We should think about that when creating a new category.
@segen – Yes, I’ve made a note about it. Thanks!
