I’ve put the finishing touches on the first version of my EnvatoUpdate notification app. The app has been tested on XP and Vista, but may run on other versions of Windows as well.
Features:

- Automatic updates (will check for and install any available updates each time you start it)

Just hit install. Any missing prerequisites will be installed, and then the app will be installed. To run it, find it in your Programs > EnvatoUpdate folder in your start menu.
And of course, give me feedback! Comments, bugs, suggestions, feature requests, etc.

Finally a new one that works, and works for Windows Vista! I was the first to test the beta version and I gotta say, this is great! It’s really useful and has a lot of cool features! I can’t wait to see some new ideas in the future with this!

So, I went to the page, hit Install, and it went to a page with a bunch of code. No programs installed or anything… is that right? I also tried DL’ing the file locally and hitting install – no dice. I’m sure this is me being a total bonehead, but what am I doing wrong?

It works for me but if I hover over the little icon it says: ‘Total Earnings:$8830 with 16 sales’
which isn’t true…
