Hi all! First time poster. I am in the middle of finalizing my first script for CodeCanyon.net submission and to my horror, another script was just published to the store with almost the exact same look! I wanted to get the feedback from other users as to what I can change about the script to make it unique enough for acceptance as I’ve spent so much time in development. Screen cast of my script and link to similar looking script…
My Script: Coalition Intranet System
Similar Script: PHP Social Network Platform
it’s interesting how both these items can have such similar UI’s…

They have different roles, I don’t see why you need a different design. You are selling the functionality and not the design.
@Thecodingdude – I am unsure if I should take that as sarcasm, though I can assure anyone that this script has been in the works for a little over a month now. There are definite differences in the UI, but I am looking for CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM because I am unsure of how to modify the UI and keep it looking attractive. I’ve already contacted support and they told me to consult the forums.
It doesn’t matter because you are not selling the template but the script. Maybe you guys are using the same framework (like bootstrap).
