A just made a html5 responsive template but before making any documentation I like to hear your opinion if I should submit this because it is always a lot of work to make the documentations

It has some futures who are unique like my callme buttons ( http://www.cfconsultancy.nl/call-us-button-mobile-jquery.html ) and auto responsive youtube playlist ( http://www.cfcms.nl/youtube-responsive/ )

Hope to hear what you think

In my opinion it’s not a great template, it doesn’t attract me and needs more work.

Hello, I think it will not pass if you mean to submit it to TF.

Quality of design is not that good. Try hard to polish details–shadows, typography, lists, content itself. Also background photos should be replaced. Apart of the fact that the girls on photos are not beautiful and have dirty skin, photos are pixelated (on wide screen) and since it is an optician site it is better to focus on glasses rather than on girl’s noses and chins.

Template is lacking features to my opinion–simple lists, simple portions of texts etc. I also think that there is no need to devote a whole page to twitter, it is not that important, really. You also have bad spacings, try to work more here. Portfolio is very poor–just photos without item description.

In general, it is not clear what the website actually is–store? showcase? small business service? Try to think over the concept–what it is and whom it for.

Wish you good luck in further work!

Thanks for your replies.

@doubleF that’s just an opinion :-)

@virtuti. Thanks The themes are not finished in details. My goal is to make 4 or 5 examples for different purposes. So it is more of a framework. Just replace a few images and color code and you can make a new theme. Right now a business and a music template is following all based on the same idea. I know it laks details but if there is no interest I will not make the efforts or time to put them in and sell it myself to my customers :-)

Normally when I sell or use a template I use my own plugins from my own cms and then style them for my needs according what the client needs.

Ah, simply you said: “A just made a html5 responsive template but before making any documentation I like to hear your opinion if I should submit this because it is always a lot of work to make the documentations” so, I understood it had been finished and all what is left was to write documentation.

The matter is that authors here try to expose their templates in its best and most impressive way–polished details, well-thought logos, high quality photos etc. If template is unfinished, unpolished and has at its backside a concept of ‘customer will do that’, it may (and will) cause rejection. It is clear that later a customer will replace logo, photos, maybe colours, will remove or add blocks of content but the customer should see a template in maximum of its beauty. Visual impression is really a strong factor and people often decide to buy or not to by solely upon it. I am not insisting of course, everyone decides him/herself how to present his/her work, it comes as an advice from my side, not more than that.
