Yep, contact support and they can do it once for you. Do a search first to make sure the name isn’t taken like “site:codecanyon.net ReallyCoolUsername” This would return forum posts if it was taken. Good luck SportsTips!

A more fool-proof method (that also works for people who have not posted to the forums) is to check if there’s a profile at http://codecanyon.net/user/someUsername (where you’d substitute your desired username into the link, obviously)
