I notice that there aren’t a huge library of songs with actual vocal pieces or samples on AJ, and most likely this is because the average composer doesn’t have access to a large library of files they own / have rights to use.

I recently created a Western / Mexican tribal piece using my own voice as a sample in the song ( http://audiojungle.net/item/heroes-of-the-west/118188 ), and was thinking it might be valuable to create another heading or section when you browse categories that relates to pieces that contain any type of vocals.

I think it would be very valuable to the buyer when they specifically wanted some sort of vocal in the music. Maybe a better way would be to have a vocal section under each of the main section….well the idea is what I wanted to throw out there, how it’s implemented would be up to AJ :)

If not a vocal category, it would be good at least to have a Western category added under cinematic, as right now there are only a few possibilities!

Hey Tim, thanks for the suggestion! :) We have a vocal category already, but most tracks containing vocals are often better categorized by other genres. It’s therefore important that authors whose tracks contain vocals add “vocals” as one of their tags. That way, customers can find exactly what they’re looking for. Hope this helps! :)

Hey Scott, thanks for the help!

I looked through the categories several times and somehow missed it! That may highlight another issue however….I have found it a little tedious to run through all the category the way they are laid out in the current tree list format. Maybe it’s just me though.

Adding vocals to the tags is a good idea, and I did that one – however it may have been better if I also put it in the title :)

Thanks again.
