What do you guys think? Do you think IE v9 will finally be an “efficient and good” browser?
Check it out here
The current preview version, released last week, shows some of the features of the browser—including support for hardware acceleration and HTML5 . There are also JavaScript engine improvements.
Anything is better than IE7 and under. IE8 wasn’t bad so much as it just doesn’t compare with the others.
The problem doesn’t change the fact we still have to cater to the people/gov/orgs/education that refuse to upgrade their IE6 , lol.

+1 When I saw that the IE8 was released I thought it would be the redemption but when I saw the statistics about IE6 usage I could have cried.

Let’s just pray that [if IE 9]> works as it should, so we could overcome his new challenges…

I am confident that IE9 will be a huge step forward. When it’s released and becomes a little bit older and there were new version of Firefox or chrome we will say: Damn IE9 ! It’s so bugged!

After a few years, i’ll hear my kid scream “WTF IS WRONG WITH IE9 ?”
