So, awesome new. NHP has officially merged with ReduxFramework. You should give ReduxFramework 3.0 a try.

http://wordpress.org/plugins/redux-framework/

Basically it’s a merge of SMOF and NHP, but on steroids. We just released officially to Wordpress.org a week ago.

We think you’ll really like what you see. Give the online demo a go if you prefer:

Even if you have no desire to switch, we’d appreciate your thoughts on what we’ve come up with.

P.S. It complies 100% with ThemeForest and Wordpress.org requirements.

@fuel, Meta box and customizer support are both coming in the next few weeks. At this moment no. The great thing is for customizer and metabox we will be using our fields, not the default wordpress ones. ;)

This is at width 1354px: http://cl.ly/image/1p0b0z073r03

There are actually three descriptive fields here. Title, subtitle, and description. ;) To the left is title and subtitle, below the field (on the right) is description.

Perhaps you thought the description was a bleed of the subtitle? If you’re seeing something other than my screenshot, I would love an example screenshot and your browser details. Thank you.

Sounds great. SimpleRain, do you know if there’s a premium theme here on themeforest using it?

There are themes out there who use Redux 2.0, but Redux 3.0 was just released. It’s a whole new animal.

It’s been out 8 days and we’ve had nearly 400 downloads. ;)

I know of a number of themes right now in development with it. I’m sure there will be more than a few that popup shortly.

I’ve been trying to develop a theme for TF for months, but time was always so short. Just now I have free time to focus on it. I started searching and testing some options framework 2 days ago and found redux along others. Right now I found OptionTree simple in a good way, great flexibility (related to create a custom option panel from scratch).

What do you recommend for a starter in options frameworks like me: Give Redux a try or use a stable OptionTree?
