Hehe, I was just thinking of buying a D3200 last week. I ended up with buying the D5100 instead, little cheaper, not much loss in quality + a flip-out screen :D

I have one. I like it.

You can record short videos. Is getting hot very fast, manual said if you don’t let it cool down will fry.

Also it does 24 Mp :D

I don’t know about the prices in your places to compare, but if you want a camera for video shooting then probably you should give Canon a try. I have used a 600D and 650D for video shooting and it works pretty good. I love the flip screen – some may say it’s not necessary; but if you really go into video shooting then in many situation you’d find it very very useful to have a flip screen when shooting video. If you still want a Nikon, maybe find one with flip screen (D5100, D5200 for example).

Besides camera body and lenses, another suggestion is to save some budget on a good tripod. You’d need to use that most of the times for better video shooting. So a good tripod would be your friend all the way.

no, wait I think I’ve messed something here. I’ve rechecked the manual now so it say the temp will rise after prolonged periods of video recording whatever this means.

I’m not quite sure but probably will shut down itself to prevent damage.

sorry for misunderstanding, probably I should take a break, have no idea how I confused this. :)

but I’ve took some videos, couple of minutes and is getting warm, maybe is normal.
