Can we still use Nivo Slider for ThemeForest? They have some Pro option there. I want to use it for HTML templates. Is it still allowed? Anyone used the new version on TF?

Yes, we can use it for free as long as we don’t use it as built-in plugin.

So basically, it can be used for anything EXCEPT WordPress, is that correct?

Thanks for the fast answer!

You can still use the Nivo Slider jQuery plugin in your ThemeForest templates – nothing has changed here.

Edit: Ooops, I was a little late. ;)

Use WordPress Plugin in Premium Themes

Do you develop premium themes for your business or marketplaces like ThemeForest? With Nivo Slider Pro you can include the WordPress plugin with your themes and boost your theme sales!

CMIIW , it means that we always be allowed (for free) to use Nivo Slider script with our custom integration (in Site Templates/Wordpress Theme). We will need the Pro version if we want to include the Wordpress plugin version to our commercial theme…
