Thats a good news. Please save us google xD
Problem is this heard of giraffes in particular just move on to a new patch after ever takedown. It’s like giraffes in a hall of mirrors… I’m not sure if it is a heard or just one multiplied 10 fold.
How’s the notes post coming along guys? I have no idea what to do and, to be honest, I have no idea what you guys are going to say on the subject…
JackHowell: ups… my english is not good enough to get the point. could you explain this please in a more simple english?
googlin some phrases, I’ve found some animals that looked like the giraffes. Have checked some links and pretty soon have giraffed a layered psd from an author.
Kinda scary, I gotta say. But seems like the only way to stop those beasts is hunt them down. Everyone of them.
One of the giraffes on mine has a referral link of USERNAME “sharrybaby” & “vfxfuture” I take it the username will be taken off and ill be in breach of rules, but who is in the wrong, me mentioning a username who is doing this or them who are doing this?
I’ve also found my items in couple of places with ref-links “sharrybaby” and “homecg”. But it seems like they’re just trying to make some referral income. Not very successfully, judging by their profiles on AJ.
I’m glad you guys have a good sense of humour )
It’s a serious situation, but actually I don’t think it’ll kill Envato. Moreover (now I’m going to say something controversial), I don’t think the drops of sales some of you mentioned are 100% connected with this problem. Will the solid buyers be digging in some junk-sites instead of buying legal stuff? I guess they won’t. But un-solid ones anyway will find a way to still something, whether it’s from envato or not.
But, of course, this all doesn’t mean we have to let it go and watching the herds of giraffes propagating on the fertile grounds of the internet.
