Why is it that once you guys get our money the promise of support becomes non existant. We have been trying for well over a week to get somebody to provide support and fix a problem with a purchased theme and keep getting put off saying that we, the people who took the money, can’t provide support for a theme and that we have to go through the author. Well guess what? The author apparently feels the same way, and won’t reply to emails. The bazar theme has bugs in it that aren’t fully woocommerce compliant and cause problems with fastway plugins. Funny how this theme is supposed to be completely tested with woocommerce, who btw actually do give support as promised, but the theme isn’t. And another thing is the fact that to get the update we are expected to re-purchase a 2 month old theme. WHAT A RIP OFF
Noone likes hearing people have issues but envato cannot support any themes because they do not own the files and are just a marketplace for them. The authors are under no obligation (even if many do offer good support) to do so in any way. As it happens the author of that theme does have a support forum on their site I believe.
If you feel it is broken you can contact envato support asking for a refund but “fastway” plugins sound like an external 3rd party tool and not included in the theme itself as advertised so it does not have to support these
yes it is a 3rd party plugin, BUT, the theme does not conform to woocommerce standards and keep the address when it moves to the next stage of the checkout process. the suburb disappears and so the plugin doesn’t work. As far as the author goes, if they offer support then where? because they do not respond to emails posted to them from their own website. The plugin and woo have both been kind enough to have a look and have both said the same thing, the theme is stopping the ajax from working as promised. Apparently they have actual support staff. As far as evanto goes, they sell the product, they accept payment. If i bought a car from a dealer the onus is on them to provide support, not ford or holden. So evanto’s little play on words, after checking into the laws in australia where evanto are, doesn’t hold water. If they accept payment they are selling the product, if they dont own the product then they have no legal right to sell it unless it is on commission, which it is. Either way they accept payment, the user purchases from them, not as you say a 3rd party.
