Just noticed that the number of rates is now shown underneath the stars for each item in an authors portfolio. I just have the feeling this puts to much attention to a rating system no one really likes 
what do you think?

I heavily dislike this, theres no need for this. It looks worse than before.

Only a problem if you have low rating, if you make you items as advertised people get what they expect and they rate you well.

I totaly agree with you. All this rating system that going on just now is just too much.

Wait and see the moment he’s releasing a WordPress theme or Flash item, then he will hate that rating system as well

I bet it is hard on themeforest you get $20 max from a wordpress theme sale and people expect you to give them loads of support for free and if you don’t they give you a bad rating!
Will all my item I provide instructions as if they were to someone who had never used photoshop. this help me not get a bad rating!
