Hello. I’m just curios how other website developers are getting text content from their clients to put on their Web pages. I use HTML forms but that doesn’t feel very professional. Perhaps there are other metods I don’t know of :)

My clients either have their text already written, which is then (most often) send to me in a .doc file. Or when they haven’t got it written yet, I tell them they should, or they should get someone to write it for them :)

Oh that’s pretty straight forward. I’m trying to develop a process where they would request, pay and submit without me having to tell them.

Actually it’s quite difficult.

There are many clients that want you (the developer) to write for them, or send you very poor texts.

Generally they send me a .doc file if the website is pure HTML . If the content needs to be updated frequently, I can use a CMS or build a simple one with PHP .
