I thought about driving to London too but I hear parking, traffic and congestion is terrible. I’ve never driven in London. Where will you be parking?

I’ve got a friend who lives on the outskirts, parking up there and then getting the Train into Central, I’ve only driven directly through Central once, never again! :D

I was trying to see if the hotel I’m staying at has parking. I just hate trying to navigate the underground. Think I’ll stick to the train up then. :p

Parking is ok if you stay out of central London

When I drive in, I just drive to the hotel (use on in KC next to the station) and then tube / taxi around London.

Use this site to find cheap parking spaces

Tube is fun once you understand how it works, you can get from east to west in less than 10 minutes.

Or you can get buses which aren’t as good, it costs about £8 for an all day pass on buses / trains / underground in London which is awesome.

Is there an area booked in there as it’s a big big bar. Was in there a couple days ago. Pretty busy. Nice though.

Yeah I wouldn’t drive, get the tube and get a tube map app for your phone, makes it dead simple :)

Yep not driving now. :)

Taking my laptop so I’ll be doing some work on the train.

I’ve downloaded this app: http://citymapper.com/

Looks really nice and easy to use. Even tells you prices and calories lost if you walk or cycle, haha! :nerdy:

Hey guys,

I made it to London. Weather is pretty much as expected, rainy. Happily I was able to get my way around to the hotel, but it had it’s challenges.

I must say traffic is pretty heavy and most of it is stuck. Otherwise very nice city and country!

Can’t wait to meet you all.
