Just amazing.
the trance drum music by underworld gave me many goosebumps!
It was great, I really liked it, J. K. Rowling’s and Paul McCartney’s were my favorite parts of the opining.

If I remember rightly the first version of the 2012 logo wasn’t viewable by people who are colour blind which shows how awful this agency are at their job…

Definitely the best one yet! The part I liked best was Rowan Atkinson’s bit, of course. The entire show was just perfect though, from start to end it was full of great cultural references and actually had some content, in combination with amazing and stunning performance (1000 drums!). Furthermore I was thrilled to see the Artic Monkeys perform – not that their rendition of Come Together was so amazing but I was excited for them to be on such a big stage 
That’s a bit of fandom I guess though.
All in all I really liked the british humour throughout. Whereas everyone else takes it so seriously, only the Brits are able to add a tone of delight without ruining the official feel.
