On the right track or what?

Want your feedback on this psd tempalte, its not complete tough. any advise and criticism are all welcome

It needs work.

Why is the active/hover on the nav so big? So drop down transparency looks too light also.

The search box position looks wrong and there is no cue to what its for, “Start Typing” means nothing.

The shadow under the slider looks wrong, move it up under the image slightly.

You need to work on typography, spacings and alignment too.

Pretty much same thoughts as Scott.

- The top part needs more white space. - Certain parts feels way too dark. - the ”<” ”>” could use some more work. - Search feels wrongly placed. - The icons on the top right needs more spacing / feels wrongly placed. - The footer needs more spacing / padding and generally more work (try with a white color for the headers for example).

It just needs more overall work and I’m sure it’ll turn out great

Try to use a 960 grid system and some own lines in Photoshop to get a better spacing, hierarchy and allignment.

Hi,

Put some work to the footer. Columns have various width and links are wrong aligned. I think they should be closer to left side, or centered.
