And what about our example? http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/soft-rejecting-that-have-no-sense/140671

Just add the wording “Open Letter to Envato: ” to your thread title and that will get attention :D

Lol! :P It was not my intention to get attention! For what? But I was really serious and I still am. I’m not 100% convinced but my team and I will take the bait. Lets see how things go!

@sketchpixy… I feel your pain.. I’m currently experiencing this issue although I’m just trying to console myself coz its my first upload….. I spent weeks building a site template n it got rejected… I tried checking for bugs but didn’t find any.. Its cross compatible.. Works with all browsers, has some cool features, its all cool so finding the error got me lost and sad because i dont know where to start from

If the reviewers can at least give us a reason why it was rejected, it would have been fair n hasten our correction.. But leaving me to find why it was rejected is like giving a 2years old kid calculus to solve.

Its complicated and the whole process of review got me sick, although its good. But Envato should try @ least tell us why our item got rejected in other to make amendment fast as possible for we authors

@paschaldefreak…If a theme is hard rejected, in 99% it’s because of its design.

@LubosVolovar Yeah I know. Mine wasn’t hard rejected… Just normal rejection, made some corrections already, awaiting their reply

What do you mean by normal rejection? Was it soft rejected? If so, then you received list of issues from reviewer and then I do not understand why you have written this:

But leaving me to find why it was rejected is like giving a 2years old kid calculus to solve

Hey sorry for the late reply. So how did it go for you? Did your item get through?

We were busy with final touches to our template. We realized that the sales here were dipping drastically for the past 2 weeks in the category we wanted to submit in ( don’t know why ) and decided to publish our template on another marketplace. The review process there was really smooth and its went live yesterday. The first day sales are pretty decent so we are happy about our decision. But we’ll always keep an eye on changes in TF and if they revise their policies on the review process then we will submit here too :) Its sad that they aren’t listening to new authors and we sincerely hope things change for everyones benefit.

Hey don’t give up on Life. Sorry I can’t give out the name on this thread as I think its against rules. Just google my profile name (SketchPixy) and you’ll know where I uploaded. If not send me an email admin (at) sketchpixy (dot) com

And don’t take rejection too seriously that you need to almost give up on Life :)
