Well for one, your background doesn’t line up. I don’t know what resolution you’re using but at 1440×900 I can see a seam.

not sure if you are using a background image or not but CSS -Tricks just did an article on full page background images, take a look at that, perhaps that might be useful in using a background image to fit into a full screen regardless of size
no seams that way, but it does use tables!
