I am surprised I didn’t know about this! I haven’t used ProjectSAM sounds before. They seem like quality though. I am looking to upgrade in the near future, so I will do some research. I am usually use NI, Machfive, or even the built in Reason samples.

I actually just purchased this package last night. Pretty impressive stuff in here. If you don’t have anything from ProjectSAM, it’s a good buy if you’re not wanting to dive into the more expensive stuff. I would go straight for Symphobia 1/2 but, alas, I simply don’t have that much money to throw down on that just yet.

Yeah, it’s got some very nice sounding stuff in it. From orchestral to sound design. It’s actually made me want to get their brass library :P

I was considering getting either ProjectSAM Orchestra Essentials or Spitfire Albion, chose Albion in the end. It is slightly more expensive (349 GBP instead of 349 E), but it has more articulations, especially the legato strings which OE doesn’t have and more dynamic layers.

Really like the sound of OE though from what I’ve seen in the demos and the ProjectSAM approach to the multis, which are very inspiring to start a composition. Curious to hear what others can do with it.
