(Locked) Outrages Copy my own Template - Design & Animations I need help in making a complaint

Hi Guys,

There is a template in the first row on Site Templates that is copying without a shame my template:

1) Start animation of menu from the left to the right
2) Home – Same structure page as my Home Layout 2
3) Portfolio – After you click the thumbs on both portfolio’s there is a similar resemblance of his preview with mines 4) Gallery: Similar preview animation and positioning

The whole feeling is just is poor copy of my Synergy template. Can you please take a look and tell me if i am right? It is now in the first row of Site Templates. I need help in what to do in this case.

The only thing you could really do is contact support with why you think the theme is stealing from you

Am i right? or is just my feeling. Have you looked at the my template and the one in the first row from on Site Templates?

I have, however I do know the author and I know he’s made it from scratch, I kept giving him little reviews through the process, however I don’t know where he’s got his ideas from

I think you are kidding, from scratch? If Synergy wasn’t in Top Weekly Sellers i couldn’t say anyhting. But my template has been there for 2 months, exactly from start so i say it is a very big chance that your so called “friend” made a copy of my template in terms of design and animations.

Anyway i already contacted my lawyer and i will sue him. I need to know what is the procedure for themforest.

I’m not joking, I only know him through here and we talk on facebook about new themes we’re making.
He showed me it a month ago when the homepage didn’t even work
I’m not saying he didn’t copy you, I’m trying to stay very safe here, he might have taken your work as an idea and worked with it in mind.

I think suing would be the wrong idea, you could just contact support with enough evidence to get it taken down? Think if every author that thought their theme was being copied sued the person? There’d be more lawyers than authors on this marketplace

“We’re making” – So you are involved too. That is good to know. That is why you are defeding him. And please spare me the comment “created from scratch”. Synergy template is in first 5 places for 2 months already and i hardly believe you didn’t know about the look alike.

“We’re Making” could also mean they’re discussing the individual themes they’re making personally, calm down, Ben is only trying to offer some opinion.

Contact Support => That is always the best way for things like this, not attacking forum members!

The template we are making separately… Calm yourself down
It’s a quicker way to get a user review of templates I’m working on.
I’m not defending him, I’m just saying, contact support.
