Has anyone else experienced a staggering a drop in referrals since the new pricing system? We’ve had about a 30% drop in sales, so I would assume referrals are likewise down, but there is a significant gap between 30% and 3,000%. It is also odd that we have more depostis than registered members. Does anyone have any idea what might account for all this?
Yeah i had the same and i think it’s also because of the buy now feature that has been introduced witch i already did see coming.
I think you had more deposits because someone registered a month before and the deposit just came a month ahead that’s the only guess i can make, i had this too sometimes.

I’m not sure.. does the new pricing system require you to be registered when you’re paying the extra $2? If not, then that’s why. They simply arn’t registering, but buy straight away.![]()
Yes you need to register to buy either way, and we still get 30% of the first purchase of a referred buyer even if he buys-now rather than deposit.
But yeah it’s been slow here too since Xmas – I think we should just get rid of Christmas, it’s pointless anyway, it’s freezing, you can’t even go out, let’s just buy presents for the kids and that’s it
Well for me November and December was actually good but January has been really crappy.
I don’t think it’s the pricing system, rather it’s the people have no money left to spend.
Cheers

ya, my referral has drop. But the sales from the new buy now feature has increase. I have no idea why
November 2009: 2435 Clickthroughs, 10 Registered Members, 3 Deposits
December 2009: 6493 Clickthroughs, 9 Registered Members, 8 Deposits
January 2010: 2925 Clickthroughs, 0 Registered Members, 0 Deposits
Well it must be because of the new +2$ pricing system; many people will pay 2 bucks to “save time”...I couldn’t tell about the registrations %, because I’ve got none for like 2 months:
- December 2009, 562 Clickthroughs, 0 Registered Members
- January 2010, 38 Clickthroughs, 0 Registered Members
Man, where are you posting you ref links? CNN .com, techcrunch? That’s a lot of refs, at least for me it is
EDIT @Joost – yes, the new system doesn’t require registration. However, you should still get 30% off of their purchase nonetheless…![]()
Dude u asked d rit question. I want to knw that too.
