<form method="post" id="commentform" action="">
I’ve filled the contact page info required in the admin section and I suppose that it’s enought to gather all the info needed. Or is it necessary to enter the e-mail in other place as well? I’ve also entered the e-mail in the get_mail.php file in the framework include section, but it still doesn’t work.
Another problem that I’m having is that in IE9 the dropdown menu falls behind the nivo slider in the index page. It works fine in the other browsers. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english. Any help will be very appreciated, specially about the contact form. It’s my first wordpress site!

First, make sure that your server is actually configured to be able to send email.
If you’re having trouble with the built-in contact form, you might try Contact Form 7 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/ , which is an excellent plugin, with lots of docs and FAQs if you run into trouble.
Regarding IE9 , I’m sure it’s just a z-index issue that you’ll need to add a little CSS to fix.
Hope that helps!
Thanks sevenspark. I’ll take some time to read about contact form 7. About the dropdown menu problem, I’ve allredy been playing around with z-index of the slider images and of the main menu but I still can’t get it work fine. I’m running a mac and I don’t have a pc with IE9 to test it. I do have one with IE8 and it works fine on it. Is it trustfull to test it through parallells in mac? I’ve tested the site in IE9 at the Adobe browserlab but it doesn’t show the dropdown menu neither the main menu with cufon replacement. How do I fix this? Is there an issue with the compatibility mode in IE9 ?
I’ve created a testing page with a form using contact form 7 and it’s still not working. It gets an error message surrounded by a red box. In the FAQ section of the plugin says that it might be a server problem then. I’m currently waiting the answer from my server admin. I couldn’t figure out how to add a required country+city+phone-number field to put in the form. I would like them all in separated boxes, but one following the other. Any help?
I’ve solved it adding the plugin Configure SMTP because my server admin told me to try using a form that uses phpmailer class. Additionally I am using the Contact Form 7 plugin for this new form and so far it’s working fine. Thanks anyway.
