Hey guys I have this annoying bug in my next template and I can’t sort it out, is in MSIE 7 in the other browsers works like a charm. I’ll pay $15 via PayPal if you can solve it for me. Is 3.15pm and I’ve been dealing with it since 11.00am and I’m going nuts!! Is a stupid problem but I don’t understand it, maybe for my english, the tutorials doesn’t help me :(

Did you try giving the slider a z-index as well?

Yes, I’ve tried EVERYTHING :(

Header is the parent of the navigation so:

#header {height:63px; position:relative; z-index:999}
this is because somebody said that “giving the parent element a higher z-index actual fixes the bug”

Also #banner (children of header)

#banner {height:340px; position:relative; z-index:100}

And finally

#display{background: url(images/lcd.png) no-repeat; margin-top:29px; width:399px; height:333px; margin-left:-19px;margin-left:21px; position:relative; z-index:-10 }
(children of banner)

Hey Ivor. Try adding the following code to your stylesheet file:

#header { z-index: 2; position: relative; }
#banner { z-index: 1; position: relative; }

I sent you some code to try via your profile page, I didn’t create it myself but hopefully it helps…
