I’m just wondering if anyone can help me out with this.

I’ve been having a look round at the Prepaid Mastercards and trying to work out if it’s better value than receiving cash via Paypal.

I’ll be using it for point of sale purchases mainly, but would also need to be able to transfer funds to my bank.

My Graphicriver earnings are growing toward £1000 per month. If I withdraw £1000 to Paypal, they will charge 3.4%, so £34 plus they’ll take a chunk on currency conversion.

Will it be cheaper to get a Prepaid Mastercard, rather than pay £34 per month?

I see that some have monthly fees, some have point of sale fees, some with fees for withdrawing – and others without / a mix of all of them

Can anyone help me out? Recommend a good one for the UK? Or shall I stick with paypal?

Thanks :D

Awesome. I’ve never used payoneer before so I’m interested in the response and will be following this thread carefully!

Seems like an easier option than Withdrawing ›› Paypal ›› Paypal to Bank ›› Finally get the cash….

But I’m more interested in if it is ‘cheaper’ haha

Payoneer? In my opinion it’s a big lost of money. It’s okay if you receive customization payments, etc., but for big bucks, a no no. Why? Because you loose a lot with payoneer’s/mastercard exchange rate. For example, I’ve lost about $200 in one month because of their exchange rate. Best of the best, for big money transfers is swift.

+1.

Swift is simply the best and only $35 bank charge – transferred straight to your bank account.

send it to your credit card .

Withdrawing ›› Paypal ›› Paypal to credit card ›› any left over at the pay day >>credit card will auto send to bank (and you skip the bank fee :P ).
