It is nice for Paypal to finally move forward in time, but I’m really shocked that the biggest internet payment gateway in the world took this long to come out with something like this, when they really should have been the first. The site takes so much design queues from Square, and it seems like they just mirrored Square’s entire business model. I also like the Square reader a lot more than Paypal’s new one.
Being an active Paypal user is the only reason I’m tempted to try it out, but I think I’ll stick to Square for the 1 – 3 credit card transactions I may do this year .
