hi! as i am in europe and i’m receiving my (little amount of) envato earnings in dollars, i was wondering if it is convenient to open a second currency,in dollars, in my paypal account. in this way i would not “pay” for the currency conversion every time. maybe i can wait for a period in which the euro/dollar exchange rate is convenient and, if i buy something in dollar in the US with paypal, i will not pay for the currency conversion twice. what do you think?
how do you handle foreign paypal payments?? thanks!
When you transfer your money to your credit card its automatically convert to your credit card currency.
Interesting, I’ve never paid for currency conversion on paypal. I use dollar as my primary currency on, so I can see the Euro amount right before sending money to my bank.

Actually I do it the same like you bosone. I simply hold my money in $ on my Paypal until time gets better. Until then I can still use those amounts for purchases in $-Countries.
@DoubleX AFAIK the Rate is already deducted on the overall € Amount which is displayed. Have a look in your logs and you’ll see that they actually draw the rate.
