Personal Portfolio

Very fresh and fun portfolio design. One note – after the header section, the design lacks a meaningful hierarchy… which you could probably accomplish by differentiating between H1, H2, H3 etc. font sizes… right now all of the headers are the same visual weight after the navigation, which allows the eye to wander. Lastly, you can decrease the padding in the recent items section between the long-thumbnails and the meta-title-text – right now they are so far apart that they don’t feel quite connected.

I would recommend using CSS sprites. The arrows that appear above the page links have a bit of a delay before they show up when you hover over them. This wouldn’t happen using CSS sprites.

I don’t know why you see it bold and italic. Maybe your browser or OS preferences set up that way.

My only concern is the header. It shouldn’t be fixed. When you scroll, there’s very little room for the content and it’s hard to focus on it.
