great news! but reading the PhotoDune licenses terms i found this:

On Photo Regular License point 5.4 and on Photo Extended License point 8.3 is this mention:

displaying of any Work in any digital format at a resolution greater than 1000×1000 pixels in on–line or electronic publications, including web pages

this is very confusing. i mean if i buy a picture from PhotoDune and i want to use it in a live demo for a themeforest item (for a fullscreen background for instance) i am not covered by license? Usual i should be covered by the regular one, once the item is not provided in the download package, but according to PhotoDune terms, even the Extended license is not cover that.

Hey Chris, you would not be so happy if you were an author with a low amount of items (but others on mind) in that marketplace… :( In fact, i’ve completely stop my strategy over PhotoDune. It’s impossible to compete.

Very cool! I’m just now checking it out, and I like what I see. I have a question with licensing and hope that I don’t sound too dumb :P.

If I wanted to use an image from photodune as the image for a “collection” in my profile could do I just need the basic license? I would have to re-size the image and add text to it.

Thanks and best of luck to all the PD authors!
