That faux pax oil painting cracked effect looks much better in my opinion. I don’t like the latest ammendment.

As far as I understand it, it’s supposed to be a reptile’ish skin texture, not a general texture overlay, in which case it doesn’t really work (even though I quite like that particular texture too, though not necessarily for this image).

Oh I see… Apologies. That oil painting effect looked cool though.

Good point about Liquify, Zeplix, glad you said that. Force of habit means I tend to go straight to Warp in a lot of cases, but Liquify would almost certainly be better for this.

Not at all, I could definitely see the warp tool having it’s uses here. In fact, I think the warp tool might be able to create a better effect if you are more skilled at using it, though I think the liquify filter would be more easy to use :)
