PHP Editing

So far I have used two pieces of software for my PHP work, Dreamweaver CS3 and Notepad+. Notepad+ has been my favourite since it’s quick to load and a less cluttered interface.

Now I’m interested in finding something that will allow me to save pieces of code and select for re-use later. I have some code that I constantly find myself reusing in WP so having it available from within the editor would be perfect. Does anything like this exist?

What tools do you find useful (Windows)?

Have you heard of the ZenCoding extension? Might be what you’re looking for as you are already familiarized with Dreamweaver and/or Notepad++.
