I saw that few people asked for PHP books and recommendations here, but I lost myself in that.

Can someone recommend me a good PHP book for beginner?

Thanks.

The php online documentation is awesomely easy to use. If you have a question about a function or something in general you just type it in like this:

http://php.net/open a file http://php.net/sessions

99% of the time you will find something that helps you do what you want to do, with examples you can copy straight from the website.

(also pick an impossibly hard project, and get someone to tell you you can’t do it, i found its great motivation – but im a bit strange – lol)
