Hey all! I’ve just created a new phpBB forum for a client and he loves the design and hosting. BUT, for some reason the forum wants a moderator to review the posts before they can be viewed by other users.

How do I delete or edit this function?

I want all members to be able to write in the forums without any moderators to review them first.

Thankful for any help!

Dan

You have alot of permissions to set in there:
  • permissions by forum
  • permissions by user groups (and even by individual users)
Now multiply this by:
  • permission to read
  • permission to reply
  • permission to make sticky
  • permission to post announcements
  • permission to moderate
  • permission to report posts
  • permission to delete posts

So let’s get back to work.

Hi Dan, in that case, you might want to give the phpBB Support Forums a try. They also have a [3.0.x] Translations section which could be useful. Let us know if/when you succeed! Good luck.

Hehe I just had a little help from a phpBB guru and the problem was not the settings, I had some strange addon-settings that did something to my other settings when they posted..

Thanks for the help! =)
