So did anyone else back Planetary Annihilation on Kickstarter? I haven’t played many RTS’s, but this looked so good I just had to.

Totally, like I said I have never really played RTS’s, but the art style looks sick and in general, overall game looks really fun. I played spore for a little bit, but the galactic feel on planetary annihilation seems so much better than spore… Not that they are completely comparable, but that’s just the closest thing I can relate to.

really ..

I started on Dune, back when it was on floppy disks !

Then moved onto everythig Westwood. Inc Red Alert etc. Great fun, but tbh I prefer when it was less graphically intense. Looks great though albeit a little cartoony.

p.s . regarding galactic warfare.

You aint lived until you have played Elite ( came out in about 1980 ) now that was cool

LOL! I’ll definitely have to look that up. I was born in ‘81, but I’m all about some classics!

Well, while looking up Elite, I found that they are attempting to bring it back. They just finished a successful Kickstarter in January, this year. Check it out.
