Plugins Within Theme, Can it be Done?

Hey,

To all those wordpress developers, is it possible to include plugins within the theme? i was thinking it has something to do with the functions.php file, but not sure.

I want my theme to be activated with a plugin with one click, no activating of plugins required.

Help much appreciated.

require the main plugin .php file in the functions.php eg: require_once('themainfilepath')
