Im editing a theme which used some jquery with features like a slider, lightbox etc.
Those features aren’t needed in this project so I have removed them,however, the theme uses PNG images and thus needs a PNG fix. Can I use PNG fix js without using the jquery.js file?
What if I use a PNG fix .htc file ?

it doesnt need jquery and works even with background and tiled png images, something most other methods do not offer

Thanks guys, as it happens the client’s opted for some other jquery stuff so it’s going to stay – all 56kb of it.

Please dont use any kind of png fix because the most time they will not work proper 
In most casses a pngfix is not necessary
