I still see some poorly designs here, and i can rember that form a thread here that envato whas going to up there requirements about the designs that are going to be approven.

It nothing personal but some(a couple) design here are…...well what i called design that are created by 13 year olds that are working just one month with graphics/code.

I have seen a lot of cool design that where rejected but these design are approven so what’s the deal.

ps this is nothing against the reviewers!!!

I guess it’s all about sales.

Reviewers know what will sell and what not, so perhaps that’s one reason.

I believe that a…let’s call it less-able design that targets a wider audience and can be customized for many purposes will always get accepted in favor of a better, perhaps unique/innovative one that won’t appeal to so many customers.

In the end, it’s all about the Benjamins…right? :)

They implemented my idea in the first place… the “Bribe” button hahahhaa….

Now seriously,

I personally noticed a slight improve of the designs lately. I also noticed by the review line, that many, but when I say many, its like 80%-90% of the items in the review queue get rejected.

My last Site Template when I uploaded was on position no.9. so, out these 9 items, only mine got accepted, this should mean something I suppose :D

I think updates go on “35th out of 50 on ThemeForest”. New updates are “5th out of 15 on Site Templates”. Well I don’t know anymore… I’ll give myself the blessing of ignorance =D

I guess I can consider the thread closed that I just started about this exact information. Thanks!

lol, I emailed Mark so he could answer your questions in that thread but since Kailoon shared the info. I suppose it’ll be okay for me to do as well.

Site templates have about 70-75% rejected each month. At least that’s my approximation since I don’t have the actual stats.
