Posidon Theme will not unzip as expected

I’ve just purchased the above theme and I am having problems extracting the files. It extracts a posidon-v1 file. What the hell is that? I have downloaded and extracted lots of wordpress themes in the past with absolutely no problems. Can anyone explain why I am having a problem with this one. I did read somewhere that I could download winace which will work but that is so not fair and sneaky because you’ve either got to pay for it or agree to receive emails from from about 100 vendors. I don’t mean to moan but when I pay for something I typically expect to use it immediately so a reply from the powers that be would be appreciated.

what software you used for extracting the content of the archive?

I use default one that was already on my PC – The operating system is Vista

well I don’t know the theme you are referring to but if it has a lot of sales then the issue is probably on your computer or some issue between envato server and your computer.

is not a matter of blame of course, software may have bugs and vista is not that great.

so, what to do.

- try download the theme again

- try using winrar.

- contact the author (if the item has no sells, if it was purchased and no one complained about the archive then probably you should jump this step)

- if everything fails, contact envato support.

Also, each item is checked by a reviewer, so if the theme is missing files or have a corrupt archive will not be approved.

you can also try to update windows if you didn’t do this already.
