ok so basically im trying to create a bar that stays on the bottom of the screen even when you scroll (like the chat bar for facebook). so i created my div element and i positioned it at the bottom of the screen and used the position:fixed on it. This all works fine in ff3 but when i test it in IE7 the bar just sits on the top of the screen and doesnt stay fixed it scrolls away. iv tryed googing the code but im not very good with html and didnt understand much of what they said. so i was just wondering if any of you knew any tricks for doing this (or maybe a javascript code that keeps it on the bottom is better).

I had a similar problem about a week ago and used this to fix it: http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/fixedPosition.html

Just email me at: btgirton@gmail.com

PS – It is cross-browser compatible with all browsers I’ve tested. =)
