I pretty much suffer from the fact that I don’t need to upgrade my custom 4+ year old pc. I don’t do stuff with it to require major upgrades. 
I don’t have any excuse for upgrade.
Last thing I added to my old intel Q6600 2.4ghz; 4gb ram; was a ssd drive for the windows partition. It pretty much does his job well enough.
Other than that I also have a sony laptop and a mac mini (probably this one needs a ssd). All of them run to make the my job done. web dev, that is.
