Yeah, the more I think about it, I can see why more people would be turned off to paying for a Premium than not. I appreciate the responses!
I, too, would love to see a dashboard though. Sounds like that’s something everyone could get down with
+ for the dashboard.
It could be a combination of all the account information such as earnings/statement, current upload position, and comments of course.
@threat: Dude, I believe the features mentioned are already a must. IMHO I mean, of course we should all be able to see latest events from a dashboard, without becoming premium.
For the fast-track review, I don’t think it’s the greatest idea to make distinct privilege level between authors.
I personally would donate a good amount of $ to TF (like they are not getting enough – lol -) to get these features, but not to become a premium, to get all authors having these features.
I’m sure we all would do the same. Just, the idea; I don’t know I’ve just always been cold to the premium, gold, classy membership concept =)

yeah the dashboard is a waste of potential filespace within the homepage at the moment, to be honest though the homepage should be filled with files, popular files, featured files etc… not who commented on who’s file etc. Maybe a user home page with a dashboard, status, stats etc would be a nice addition…?
dashboard idea is cool…climbing the fd latter any other way than uploading the best files & working your ass off….well you decide…

word ur right about this one…. user dashboard not entire site dashboard…I suggested this about a month ago only with the forums so we can track our posts and what posts are made on our threads…
+1 on the dashboard idea
Yeah, I don’t think it would make sense on the homepage. But it would make sense for author’s to have a dashboard tab. That would be a great way to see a snapshot of everything going on with all their items for sale, comments, latest sales, etc.
Yes, we have the api…but I still like using the actual web sites for seeing what’s happening. And I can’t respond to comments with an api.

I like the dashboard idea, too. Then I don’t need to open another app to track the rss of the latest comments.

Hi guys, The dash idea is awesome!! As you probably all know we’re working on the redesign currently so I’m letting Collis know about this idea (in case he hasn’t thought of it already).
I don’t think we’ll ever create a “premium user” system. We have 6 devs working full time to improve the sites, and when we improve anything we want everyone to benefit immediately.
Thanks guys!
