Just wondering what people’s experience has been like today (yes I know it might be too early to know for sure but I still want to hear from every1)?

Up, Down, Same?

Just 3 sales with new pricing, so it’s rather down, but like I said in another thread, it’s too early to make any conclusion, let’s wait with this until next Monday.

I’d imagine that, even if there’s a buyer who doesn’t mind the increase, he/she might still hold off at least one day while they search to find out more about it all.

So if there’s a number of authors posting here to say their sales have stopped today.. everybody coming to this thread should bare that in mind before panicking too much ;)

Well at least I haven’t noticed any drop in my sales ($35 -> $45), so I wouldn’t be too worried at this point about the new prices.

As a buyer, I must say that seeing the $40, $50 and $55 all on one page is a bit disconcerting. I still think there is a psychological case for $39 and $49 in my opinion.

Just about the same # of sales here – maybe 1 or 2 less than an average Monday, but anything can cause that sort of thing.

About a 50% decrease today, but it’s the same with my CodeCanyon sales, so I don’t think it’s necessarily the price increase. Still way too early to tell of course :)

I think you’re absolutely right. The only reason I can think they don’t do this is because people would be upset if they had a $1 deposit left over after purchasing a $39 theme. But I agree, I’m surprised they don’t do that. Personally, I actually like the way things are priced here – it seems more “honest” – but that’s just me; I think in general that $39/$49 psychological strategy is more effective.
