Hello, Another constructive idea: Why don’t we let the prices go up or down like in stock market. You can put a range like e.g. 17$ – 90$. The price may change depending on the popularity. (it’s not very hard to write an algorithm for that)

Ifever the author wants the price to be a fix value, you can also let that option.

You’ve just impressed a good point tolgafiratoglu! Maybe not like you’ve mentioned but they could give us a spesific range? For an e.g. we can just arrange the price +1 or -1 for items up to 10$, or +5, -5 for items up to 25$ ? Just an idea, of course it should be improved!

The problem with this is that changing the prices all the time will annoy buyers as they may feel ripped-off.

Maybe for an opinion; envato staff can put an option on prices in a range to arrange it? Ex: “Your item approved and you can sell this item for -3$ -4$ -5$ ?” I’d select the amount and it would be permanent and not changeable again?

Letting users set prices is a conversation that has been had many times, please search the forums. There is an overwhelming response to this and most of it AGAINST letting authors set prices, do a search and take a look, lots of valid points.
