Hello everyone! It’s nice to meet you all. I found this site via KirupaBlog.

So, I am working on a template, and low and behold I have an issue I cannot solve. Basically, I was trying to edit the links on the “About Us” page, and now the links don’t show up! The dashes do, and 2 of the other links, but now I cannot figure out the difference. They are movie clips. Here are some screenshots, maybe you guys can help!

I believe so, the template came with many fonts which I had trouble installing. What is my next step?

well.. enter in your link movieclips, select the text field and check if is dinamic, static or input type – i must be static. if other way… you need to click on the embed button and select “basic latin” to embed the font…(dynamic and input text fields are not shown if they are not embeded and have transformation as scale and skew applied)

I’m not sure if this is the answer.. but you can give it a try…

Wicked, first off thanks alot for your help. They are static. Here are two screenshots. One is of the working “web design” button, the other is one of the non working ones “Specialties”.

Well.. now one thing is sure… you have a different frame animation for those buttons… Seems that the animation for Specialties don’t work as well as you need… Check the text(how is shown) on all frames and watch how the script handles the frames… (select first layer and pressF9)

In regards to your last post, I am confused. It says no actions can be taken for the current selection.

hmm.. click on the first frame from the first layer and press f9(where is a little “a”)

there is the actionscript that manages your frames…

not on the text

Ha! I figured it out! It seems I didn’t use “Adobe Manager” to install the necessary fonts. I simply copied them into the Windows Fonts folder.

Thanks for all the help Wicked. Kudos to you. How is everyone this cold night?
