Hi everyone,
Lately I have seen many new themes promote new features and demos that will be available soon.

Many of them are some top sellers.

Are we allowed to do this?

Cheers.

I read another thread on the forums where a reviewer says that it’s not allowed. I just can’t locate the discussion to send you but apparently it’s not allowed.

I once put a graphic in an item page saying woo commerce support coming soon and my item was soft-rejected for it, so I don’t think this is allowed.

They do it after the theme is put up for sale, so the reviewers never see that.

It is not allowed, if you notice any item with such promotion, please inform Envato support and we will take care of it.

Thanks!

Ok, thanks for letting us know. I think this is a step in the right direction to try and keep the marketplace products more balanced.
