So, a nightmare for any theme author has happened to us today. I woke up this morning and saw that my tablet couldn’t log in to my corporate email account so I went on to check things on my desktop. Nothing until I checked my theme demos through Themeforest…all themes were offline. Jaw dropped to the floor…
Anyway, to keep the story semi-short; Renewal emails from GoDaddy were sent to my spam folder which I never check and the domain www.prothemeus.com wasn’t renewed in time. Amateurish, I know and I’m banging my head to the desk.
In case you’re a visitor and are wondering why the WordPress theme demo’s are not working or if you are a user that is in need of support for one of our themes, please contact us through the contact form on the profile page: http://themeforest.net/user/Prothemeus
We are currently waiting for a GoDaddy reply to get everything back online as soon as possible.
I sincerely apologize for any delays and/or inconvencience!
Posted 6 minutes ago and it appears we’re online again! Phew!
That’s why i’m not using GoDaddy! They are good only for domain registration, that’s all.
It’s good to hear that everything is fine now!
Anyway, I think it is goDaddy’s amateurishness.
When I saw that my themes and support forum were offline, I was like:
Considering how many of the daily support requests I reply to are linked to GoDaddy, I’m surprised they are still in business to be honest.
Glad to hear that you’re back!
http://wpengine.com/ not the cheapest one, but worth it
The problem wasn’t the hosting fortunately, it was a simple domain registration mixup. I’m thinking about Media Temple though!

I’ve been thinking of switching for a long time but for some reason, it’s always these last minute situations that prevent me from doing it. I’m glad I got everything back up!
