PSD category

what is going on with PSD files?! it’s almost impossible to get PSD files accepted. i’ve been rejected three times in the row with themes that are nice (not only my opinion. it’s opinion on several people from TF that saw them). i see a lot worse themes got approved.

i know the story about “PSD files must be “top of the pops”” but c’mon?! no new themes in 9 days! it became impossible to get accepted in PSD category except if you match reviewer’s taste. and it also happens once in 10 days!

maybe, just maybe i’ll stop doing themes cause i spend sooo much time on them and then i am not getting accepted after almost 2 days “on hold” in queue!!!

To my humble opinion this is one of the better looking themes (at least this page). It’s clean and looks very pro. I would be potential buyer for sure.

I have to agree looks better than a lot that are accepted – not sure why it’s rejected at all – but it happens to us all at some point here.

Best to email the reviewer and ask for a more detailed reason and what improvements need to be made to get it accepted – of course this is up to the reviewer and if they have time.

I’m sure you’ve been told that if you make it into html it will be accepted – had that on almost EVERY submission….

yes, i agree, we all are rejected. i can leave with that. actually it makes our themes better. the point is that my last three themes were rejected and they were all fine. i don’t claim that my themes are breath taking but they are decent. at least in range with already accepted.

BUT !!!! PSD section became nightmare. just take a look on how many PSDs are accepted in last 9 (NINE) days!? NONE ! and keep in mind that there are at least 10 uploaded / day. simple mathematics and we come to number that there is no single one theme out of 90 that is good enough to get accepted.

i mean… WTF !? think what would happen (it will not, but just think if it does) if all the authors on TF give up and stop uploading their works! i am one step to quit all this.

and yes… they always suggest to convert it to HTML . i will, eventually, but only for those themes that are accepted as PSD . this is at least some guarantee that it will be accepted as HTML as well.

Oh I totally agree.

I have often thought that they will either remove the category in time or move it over to graphic river – and that will be a shame as my PSD sales in general are really quite good here.

Well, to be honest. The first page looks pretty nice but the other pages are a little boring.

I’m talking about page 2, 3 and 5, the typo needs some work and maybe spice up the form a little.

i see. it’s your personal opinion and it’s ok. but… there are a lot of plain and dull (not to say boring) themes that are accepted. i was never and i will never point out which themes cause it’s not fair to their authors. but if those themes are good to be accepted here then there is something wrong with criteria here. someone like me gets accepted only when uploading kick-ass themes. some other authors gets accepted almost whatever they send.
