Hello Friends,

Ah yes, rejection. sigh

We’ve all been there, right? Help me up out of the dirt folks.

I’ve had a few things for sale here on Themeforest for years now but this is my first ‘just PSD’. After the rejection with no specifics and after a request for clarification, I received the following:

“Regarding to the rejected template, the overall design looks dated and the visual hierarchy is weak which lead to a messy look and low readability. There are a few inconsistent spacing/padding as well as alignment issues throughout the design. The content area is generic and too basic.

The overall design and aesthetic quality are not ready for ThemeForest. There are many aspects that required improvements and I cannot list out every single of them.”

Basically I can’t translate much of that into a path of action. Like many of us, I do this for a day job and always have changes to make after a client sees it. Many clients don’t know what they want coming in, but they sure know what they don’t want when you show them something. That part done, we then get the feedback we need to move forward.

So. I am appealing to my contemporaries here on the board for some help, that feedback and some criticism. Like most designers, I rely on a ‘second pair of eyes’.

Thanks all, Sirat
