Hello:
So I may have gone about this backwards so I am hoping you all can give me some direction.
I am helping my dad build a website for his law practice.
He currently has a website hosted by go daddy.com with the url: www.jimkanelaw.com.
I found a theme I like and I purchased it.
I then created a wordpress blog: www.jimkanelaw.wordpress.com
I paid for the upgrade for $99 (may have made a mistake there!)
Then I logged in and tried to upload my theme only to find out that if they are not hosting your site then you can’t load a theme you bought elsewhere? Really?
So, now what? I am not even sure which directions I am supposed to follow!
Thanks so much. I don’t really need to know how to do it, just to be pointed to the correct directions.

Hi there I was with go daddy before and all you have to ask them if you have hosting with them is to install a wordpress folder for you. Then once you have that you can upload whatever theme you have or purchased. You might want to upgrade to the latest wordpress but as i said any theme should work on it as long as you have wordpress installed on your account. This actually should be included in your hosting package should not pay 99 bucks extra for it. When i had the account with them i just contacted support to set up a WP folder and i think within 48 hours it was ready to use. Let me know what happens.
