Purchased theme looks nothing like live preview

I recently purchased a theme, installed it and to my great surprise it looks nothing the live preview. I’ve been tinkering with it for hours now with no luck. I can’t even get images to appear in the galleries that the theme comes with. Can anyone help or point me in the direction of a information/resources? I really do love the theme I saw in the live preview but if I can’t get this sorted out within the next few days I’ll have to ask for a refund and start all over again (which is not what I want to do).

Best bet is email the author but if it is a WP theme and you have not installed demo content or it does not come with demo content supplied then it will not look the same as the demo. Good luck

You can check for the theme documentation, if it has any. Good luck!

what you see is NOT what you get when you purchase a wordpress theme, because the content and setup of the theme does not match what the demo shows, until you get those matching, then the theme output will not look the same
